There are safe, kind, well trained and well cared lesson horses in our stables. Horses and their well being is a matter of heart to us. Equestrian is a hobby where safety is of utmost importance and therefore the nature and selection of lesson horses is very important. Rarely performance or training of a horse tells a full picture of the horse’s suitability for a lesson horse.

Lesson Ponies

All our lesson ponies are suitable to small children. Our ponies are 130 – 147 cm of height. There are no very small ponies like Shetland ponies because even though small and cute, their use as a lesson pony is often problematic. Because of their small size they are treated as pets and some have quite nasty temper. Larger ponies are therefore more useful as lesson ponies.

The rider’s weight limit for a small pony is 50 kg and for a larger pony around 55-60 kg.

Private Horses

We offer livery services in our stables for private horses. Our full livery include basic feed, haylage, bedding and daily care requirements. Private horse owners have a possibility to participate riding lessons (if there is room in group) and take private lessons.

Optionally we offer also ridden exercise for private horses.
